There was a Marajadhiraja Satyavadi Nisthavadi, son of King Satyavrata Triśaṅku named Mahārāja Hariscandra, a king who had various noble qualities and was the 28th descendant of Suryawangsa families, and was also the ancestor of the famous King, Shri Ramachandra in the Ramayana story.

Mahārāja Hariscandra was incredibly famous and respected by all his people because of his nobility. Among all the great qualities he possessed, the one great quality that made him well-known and respected throughout the world was his honesty; resolute to his words/promises were kept and he never lied. The honesty of King Hariscandra was so famous, even to Surgaloka. It can be said, the religion of Mahārāja Hariścandra is Honesty, the faithfulness to keep all the words that have been said.

In the days when the Vedic civilization was carried out properly, in general, the kings (heads of state) at that time were super noble, pious, filled with all the noble qualities, and always did well for the people. Of course, there were also bad kings. It's called Maya; black and white, good-bad, right-wrong ... everything is the decoration of the world. However, the volume of good far exceeded the crime.

While in the past, people wanted to be the head of state only for the good of the people, nowadays the goal of most people to become heads of state, is to rule. While in the past, the heads of state had firmly kept the words that had been spoken from his lips, nowadays the heads of state are playing with words for power. (04)
